These terms and conditions relate to and govern the The Wine Corner website. Please read this and the Privacy Policy before using the website. By using the website, you are accepting and agreeing to these terms and conditions.

H.K.S RETAIL PTY LTD (“we”, “us”, “our” or “TWC”) reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at anytime without notice.

Our online store operates under H.K.S RETAIL PTY LTD trading as The Wine Corner. ACN: 608 543 915. Victoria Liquor License: 32071421. ABN: 95 608 543 915. Victoria Liquor License: 31958222. Victoria Liquor Control Reform Act 1998: It is an offence to supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years (Penalty exceeds $17,000) and for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor (Penalty exceeds $700).

Orders

All orders placed on the website must only be done by those 18 years or older in accordance to Victoria Liquor Control Reform Act 1998.
All orders placed on the website intended as a gift, must confirm that the recpient is 18 years or older in accordance to Victoria Liquor Control Reform Act 1998.
All orders including those taken over the phone will be accepted at TWC’s sole discretion.
You will receive a Customer Order number specific to your purchase, signifying TWC acceptance of the order.
Vintages and prices can be subject to change at short notice, but any change will be clearly communicated prior to order processing. Bottle shots used to advertise products may show different vintages to those that are currently available. If you’re unsure about a product, please email us prior to purchasing.

Price & Payment

All orders are priced in Australian Dollars and include GST.
All prices quoted on the website exclude postage and handling costs. You will be charged extra for postage and handling. You will be notified of these extra costs at the time you place your order.
Prices quoted on the website are subject to change at our sole discretion without notice.
When you place an order on the website, you authorise TWC to deduct payments from the credit card you provide.
You must be the authorised credit card holder or be authorised by the credit card holder in order to have payment details processed.
TWC can refuse to authorise and process an order with absolute discretion when deemed necessary. TWC may request credit, anti-fraud and identity checks if deemed necessary.
TWC uses PCI compliant payment provider Stripe to offer secure payment to protect you in accordance with industry practice.


Cancellation of Orders

All orders are subject to stock availability. We will promptly refund the full purchase price of an order to you should the requested merchandise become unavailable.
TWC reserves the right to cancel any order, at which time we will immediately notify the customer of this action by email or phone using the details provided. We will provide a refund using the original payment method.

Returns

Our Returns Policy is in accordance with Australia Consumer Law and provides you with additional benefits in addition to those rights, because your satisfaction is important to us.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law:
‘Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.’
Please note that once your order has been accepted & dispatched by TWC, we will not accept change of mind returns or exchanges on merchandise.
In the event that your purchase is faulty, damaged, wrongly described or breaches a consumer guarantee we will cheerfully refund your money or exchange the product upon presentation of your proof of purchase and at least ¾ remaining of the original faulty bottle. Please contact info@thewinecorner.melbourne for arrangements to be made, or alternatively head into your local TWC store.
Delivery charges will be reimbursed to you if TWC are at fault i.e. faulty product, incorrect product delivered, or products damaged in transit. In all other instances including change of mind the delivery charge will not be reimbursed.

The website, its content, layout and design including but not limited to logo, photographs, code, data and graphics may only be used for personal reference and may not be copied, reproduced or stored without written consent of TWC.
